Strat Valley

We have some great deals on pre-owned Fender Stratocasters at the moment here at Everest Music. We are very excited about some of these rare guitars at great prices.

1974 Sunburst Fender Stratocaster 

Built: Fender's Fullerton Plant USA

This rare and beautiful Strat is fitted with a brass topnut. Other than that, all of it is original. The naturally weathered sunburst makes this guitar a complete treat to look at, but wait until you play it! Arguably from the best era of Strats, it has a concave neck which makes playing an absolute joy. The tone is unrivaled, and its condition immaculate. It comes with a free Hiscox hard case. 1977 Black Fender Stratocaster

Year: 1977

A solid and reliable instrument from Fender USA. It plays exceptionally well and is very responsive. The striking all black body definitely adds character to the guitar. It's the model with the larger headstock. Again, all original parts and kept extremely well for its lifetime thus far. We've just put a brand new set of strings on this one, so there's no better time to come and have a go. More pictures are available on request.

2009 Black & Gold Deluxe Fender Stratocaster

This Strat is as new. The condition is remarkable- not a scratch! It has been kept in pristine condition since it was built in 2009. It is fitted with new Kinman pickups, which create a great tone that really adds to the guitar. It is a definite bargain at €1,000, and there's even a hard case with it! Fender Squier Sunburst Classic Vibe Stratocaster

The rough-and-tumble Classic Vibe Stratocaster® '60s evokes that musically adventurous decade, with a few modern features added. The alder body has a Three-Color Sunburst or Candy Apple Red finish; the '60s-era vintage-tint gloss-maple neck has a rosewood Fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets and a modern 9.5" radius. The thick tone comes from the alnico V single-coil pickups--quick attack with a bit more midrange force and a knockout bridge pickup. Custom staggered polepieces provide improved string-to-string balance.

Places are filling up quickly here at Everest School of Music- so there really is no time to waste! Why not book yourself or your young musician in for a ten week course? That's all, folks! The third and final week of Summer Camp came to a close on Friday with yet another round of phenomenal talent! The students this week were very dedicated to pulling off a tight and entertaining gig, which they absolutely achieved.

Everest Music Summer Camp 2014: Week Two Update

Last Monday saw the start of another great week of summer Music Camp here at Everest Music. We were lucky enough to spend the week in the company of some great musicians, who worked extremely hard to produce an astounding end-of-camp gig. Each of the 3 bands performed on the day, with a group performance at the end. We are very proud of all the students from this weeks camp, and encourage them to keep up their good work and practice!


Below you'll find a video of each of the bands performing separately. The Bands are "The Wicked Lizzards", "The Savannas" and "Evil Ice-Cream". We'd like to thank all the campers for coming along and making it so enjoyable for all involved. They truly are a great bunch!

We had a very productive and fun week of camp here at Everest Music. The students all worked well together to produce a fantastic gig at the end of the week. This gig saw the campers perform together as individual bands and of course as a group. It was an extremely well received performance which the students worked extremely hard for. 



Below you'll find a video of each of the bands performing separately, and then the whole group playing together. The Bands are iBand, Dot Dot ?, and The F-Street Band. We'd like to thank all the campers for coming along and making it so enjoyable for all involved. They truly are a great bunch!

Ryan Sheridan's fantastic new video featuring the Mayson MS7/SCE2

Earlier this week the incredible Ryan Sheridan released the touching video to his song 'Home'. The song itself is all about what people miss when away from home, and the video features an array of people holding signs which show what they miss most about home- with some familiar faces! It is a beautiful and catchy song, so if you haven't seen it yet, have a look!

Do you like the guitar? We think it sounds great, and lets face it- it looks fantastic too! Ryan's new song is the perfect example of how well Mayson guitars sound in action. 

The Mayson MS7/SCE2 benefits from the solid big leaf flamed maple used for its back and sides, and features a solid European Engelmann Spruce or cedar top. It boasts a bright sound with a lot of projection and its renowned sustain will inspire both the musician audience alike. The MS7/SCE2 also has an ebony fingerboard and bridge, with an elegant dragon fly inlaid at the 12th fret. The neck itself is a beautiful mahogany. A similar model that we have available is the M3/O (left). It is a solid top version, without the cutaway and electronics. We have just got the Mayson M3/0 in stock for the amazing price of €389.
